The main tasks of an accounting assistant
Working in an independent, multi-disciplinary firm, the accounting associate’s assignments are varied, rewarding and designed to develop the associate’s autonomy, technical skills and consultancy skills.
Maintenance and auditing of customer portfolios
Preparation of balance sheets and tax returns
Analysis of financial data and participation in management board meetings
Supporting customers in their strategic choices (investment, cash management, taxation, etc.)
Close collaboration with the social, legal, audit and asset management departments for comprehensive monitoring
Skills and qualities sought
- Mastery of general and cost accounting
- Knowledge of accounting software (Sage, ACD, Cegid, MyCompanyFiles, etc.)
- Analytical skills and professional rigor
- Customer service and interpersonal skills
- Taste for teamwork and versatility
- A desire to learn and grow in a stimulating environment
Training: BTS CG, DCG, DSCG, Master CCA or equivalent.
Experience: internships, work-study placements or initial experience in a public accounting firm.
